Certified Chaos Goblin
Oh how I love cats!!! 🐈 🐈⬛
I am not small - I’m compact with rage, A fluffy villain. A nighttime sage. I sleep all day to save my might, Then ruin your life from dusk till light You bought me toys? How sweet. How kind. I’ll play instead with things that you mind. Your charger cord? A tasty snack. Your favorite plant? I will attack. I stare at walls. I chirp at air. You say, “There’s nothing there…” - be aware. For I see things you cannot see… Or maybe I just like anxiety Your feet beneath the blanket move? A fatal choice. You’ve sealed your doom. I stalk. I wiggle. Calculated grace - Then launch myself straight at your face. I sit on keyboards. Right on cue. Your work is done? No - it is through. You try to type - I will not budge. Productivity? I hold a grudge. I knock things down with gentle art, A scientist of falling parts. Will it bounce? Or will it break? There’s only one way I can check. And yet… when storms are in your chest, I climb up softly, make a nest. A purring weight, a steady sound - Your tiny peace when none is found. So yes, I’m chaos. Yes, it’s true. A gremlin wrapped in fur and “mew.” But every mess and wild debut… Is just my strange way loving you. 🐾✨

This poem April is hilarious.
I love how you have portrayed cats as tiny, chaotic mischievous rulers of the household. (which they truly are)
We have always owned cats.(sorry YOU don’t own cats, cat’s own You) But you’ve got them down to a ‘T’
Well done girl. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Love the title
