What Only Time Can Bring
The lessons life teach us are through time alone ⏳
There are some lessons, No map could ever show Some truths the heart must wander through, Before the heart can know You were not late to wisdom, Nor foolish, blind, or weak - You simply could not hear the things, That only time can speak Because becoming takes its toll, And growing asks its price The stars do not explain themselves, The first time they arise Some answers bloom in silence, Some healing comes in waves Some doors remain invisible - Until we learn we’re brave So forgive yourself for yesterday, For all you could not see You were still gathering all the light, You’d need eventually And oh, the soul is not a clock, Nor life a straightened line We learn things slowly, petal-soft, In sacred, scattered time The older moon still pulls the tide, The trees still bloom with spring And you were always meant to learn, What only time could bring
