Thank you 😊

Isn’t it magnificent? It truly felt magical being on that boat sitting in the middle of Horseshoe Falls.

April Gough πŸ¦„, Niagara comes through here as a place where sound, mist, light, and movement gather into awe. The image of thunder below and rainbow above gives the poem its lift, turning the visit into an encounter with scale, beauty, and memory. The line about feeling both humble and destined to fly adds an interior turn, where the falls do more than impress the eye; they restore a sense of possibility. Thank you for sharing a reflection that carries both wonder and gratitude for a place powerful enough to stay with you after leaving.

If you’ve never been then I’d highly suggest going.

Only been there once, 37 years ago. Your poem made it feel like yesterday.

If you get a chance to go back, you totally should. After 37 years I bet the experience will be quite different

Amazing. I live just a couple hours north of Niagara Falls and have seen them many times, but your poem captures them in a beautiful way I hadn’t yet seen πŸ’—

I sent it to my son (he’s almost 17), and asked him if he felt that way too. He said β€œYa it feels unreal, a place like no other”. It truly is.
